Frequently Asked Questions
What time do you arrive and leave?
Our standard arrival time is 6.30pm and we are then all yours until 12.30am. For a small additional hourly rate we can arrive earlier or finish later if you wish. Just get in touch and we can discuss your requirements, we are very flexible!
How much do you cost?
Because of the vast range of circumstances we have to take into account (travel, dates, size of venue, PA requirements etc...) we do not have a fixed price. However, our prices do start from as little as £650. Please use the contact page to request a quotation via email.
How many are in the band?
There are six of us in the band, lead singer, various backing vocals, keyboards, two guitars, bassist, and drums. All music is played live - no backing tracks, we pride ourselves in having an amazing live sound with lush backing harmonies to recreate the original tracks.
How long does it take to set up all your equipment?
Our set up takes approximately 45 minutes. That's from the time we get access to the venue to the time we have finished sound check and are ready to start the disco.
Do we have to provide sound or lighting equipment?
No. we are completely self contained. you don't need to provide anything other than a good electrical supply for us to plug into. We carry a full PA system and LED lighting so that the stage and dance floor is lit and looks great!
Do you learn requests?
For first dance songs we can play this live ( no additional fee) if given enough notice in the planning stages, or we can play it with the DJ if preferred. Please feel free to ask!
Can we pick our own set list?
We invariably pick the live set list on the night, as we go, according to the crowd in front of us. This allows us to use our expertise and experience to fill your dance floor. That said, nearer the time, you can see our current set list on the web site and you can choose a few favourites and we can include them. In respect of our disco set, you're more than welcome to fire some songs over in advance and we will make sure they are on the playback system and included during the night.
Do we get a written contract?
You certainly do. The contract is an important document that makes sure that both you and us are really clear about what's happening on the day are what our expectations of each other are. It also makes sure that your money is protected as we are legally bound by a signed contract.
Do we have to provide anything else?
The only other requirement that we have is that you arrange some soft drinks for us between sets, seven bottles of water or soft drinks would be really appreciated, most people provide a tray of sandwiches, nothing to elaborate, or some ask us to join in with their evening food, we are more than happy to fit in either way.
